Egypt: Marches in Alexandria Head Towards Local Municipality

Hundreds on Friday in Alexandria participated in two marches headed to the city's local municipality and to Sidi Gaber Station Square as part of the "Friday of Salvation" demonstrations.

The protesters chanted anti-Muslim Brotherhood slogans and held banners calling for sacking both the chief prosecutor general and the "cabinet of disasters".

On their part, security forces cordoned off the perimetres of the municipality.

Revolutionary forces in Alexandria said that demonstrations against the rule of the brotherhood will continue.
