Nigeria/Cote d'Ivoire: Ahmed Musa Absent From Training

Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa did not train with the rest of the squad on Wednesday because of a running stomach, officials said. The 19-year-old who has just made his debut for Nigeria wanted to take the 2013 AFCON by storm.

"Ahmed Musa missed training, but we expect him to rejoin the team fully on Thursday," an official of the team had earlier disclosed.

He has however lost his place to Ikechukwu Uche on Tuesday against Ethiopia in Rustenburg.

Nigeria place Cote d'Ivoire on Sunday night in a struggle in the quarterfinal at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg with the winners to set up a semi-final clash against the winners between hosts South Africa and Mali.
