Angola: 'Unidos De Caxinde' Group to Miss 2013 Edition - Regrets Aprocal

Luanda — The secretary general of the Provincial Association of Luanda Carnival (Aprocal), António Oliveira "Delon" has regretted the absence of "Unidos de Caxinde" group of Ingombota district from carnival parade in Luanda in the 2013 edition.

Unidos de Caxinde is a great group that brings to the carnival novelty and innovation, Delon told Angop.

We regret, therefore, the absence of the group, he said, adding that this year Aprocal could not meet some constraints raised by Unidos de Caxinde, but we are aware that the situation is not tackled by taking decision to miss the event.

Another group that will also miss the current edition of carnival is "União Nzambas da Kissama".

The group alleges to make better arrangements for decent participation in the carnivals of the next editions.

The Carnival 2013 is set to take place on 9, 10 and 12 February.
