Angola: Mukuaxi Carnival Group Homage Marked By Traditional Dialogue

Luanda — The show to pay homage to União Jovens do Mukuaxi group on Thursday were marked by a rich dialogue between the folk and the lyrics in Kimbundu language, Angop has learnt.

The feast started with a song by Kituxi e os seus accompanhantes, in a show backed up by instruments such as drum, as well as the traditional reco-reco and scraper.

Present at the show were also the dance groups the Diamants and Bloco Sol, that were accompanied by Maravilha band, that played the songs Kianda São Paulo and Minga.

Other singers at the stage were Armanda Cunha, Malú, Dom Caetano and Calabeto.
