Funke Akindele-Oloyede seems to be having it all good as her acting career continues to soar unabated. Recently she was in New York City for the shooting of her movie, Everybody loves Jenifa. The movie, which features acts such as Ireti Osayemi, Eniola Badmus and Esther Kalejaiye among others is one of the Jenifa series, which she believes will thrill her fans.

After the award winning comedy, Jenifa and its sequel, Return of Jenifa, Funke decided to take the adventures of the village girl turned Society babe, Jenifa to the Caribbean and United States in the movies, Jenifa in Jamaica and Everybody Loves Jenifa.

According to the talented Glo ambassador, who got married to Kehinde Oloyede last year, the Jenifa movie series will soon be out, even as it chronicles her adventurous trip to Jamaica and New York.

"The very successful movie about the plight and antics of a village girl schooling in a major city will have the fourth sequel which will be about Jenifa's international exploit. The movie was shot in the Caribbean Island of Jamaica and in New York," she said.

Let us hope that the twin Jenifa movies, will be a huge success to compensate for the hard work and money spent on the production.

Funke Akindele, who recently got endorsed as Jobberman brand ambassador started her acting career as an inquisitive teen-actress in the 'I Need to Know' drama series and since then, has not slowed down under the effective guidance of the Odufa Theatre group.

Fortune smiled on her when she played the role of a village girl in the comedy, Jenifa, which further endeared her acting prowess to movie lovers. The movie adjudged a success earned her a Globacom ambassadorship, welcoming her to the league of other A-list actors and actresses.
