Angola: MPLA Vice President to Chair Politcal Event in Kuando-Kubango

Menongue — The Vice President of Angola's ruling MPLA party, Roberto de Almeida, will chair on Saturday the public event that marks the enlistment in the party of the new militants defected from the opposition UNITA party in the south-east Kuando Kubango province.

Angop learnt that the Roberto de Almeida will be received at local airport by the party's first secretary, Higino Carneiro, followed by a courtesy meeting.

The political event will also include the reading of messages from the ruling party's youth and woman wings JMPLA and OMA, respectively.
