Nigeria: Foundation Wants More Roles for Women in Curbing Insecurity

Lagos — Founder of Awesome Treasure Foundation, Arc. Jumoke Adenowo has advocated increased role for women in the fight against terrorism in the country. Adenowo who spoke at the foundation's summit in Lagos said, "Women are the mothers of the nation.

"We have critical roles to play in curbing insecurity in our country.

"We should not fold our arms or keep mute when we see our husbands and children inflict pains on others. "We should talk and pray for them for God to touch their hearts and eventually be a peacemaker."

She said the growing insecurity in the country does no one any good and challenged the federal government to tackle it headlong.
