Nigeria: MP Donates 24 Wheelchairs to the Disabled

Minna — Representative of Chanchaga Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Umaru Bago (CPC) has distributed 20 wheelchairs as well as undisclosed amount of money to people with disability in Minna, Niger State.

Bago dropped the hint yesterday while inspecting some of his constituency's projects in Minna, saying more wheelchairs will be donated to the Minna General Hospital.

The MP said, he will sink 300 boreholes in the state capital, Minna as part of his effort to address the perennial water scarcity in the area.

He noted that out of the boreholes, 260 are hand pumps boreholes while 40 are motorized.

Bago expressed satisfaction with the level of work on some of the projects inspected and promised the contractors of early pay.
