Massawa — A number of citizen visitors from inside the country and abroad have expressed appreciation for the development accomplishments registered in the port city of Massawa.

They also asserted that it would become the nation's center of tourism and economic development in line with its endowment of strategic location and unpolluted coastal waters.

Mr. Mohammed Idris Chewai from Sweden, Ms. Elsa Jeger, Akberet Kiflai and Kalled Hamd lauded the city's development, and voiced satisfaction with the tourism attractions there.

They also called on fellow citizens to practice visiting the port city during their vacation time, and pertinent bodies to step up efforts towards promoting domestic tourism.
