Eritrea: Col. Abdurahman Mahmoud Jasser Passes Away

Asmara — Col. Abdurahman Mahmoud Jasser, a veteran fighter and head of the finance and administration department of the National Security Office, passed away today. He has been under intensive medical care following his recent sickness.

The late Col. Abdurahman, father of three, has been serving his people with commitment in various domains ever since he joined the armed struggle for independence in 1975. The funeral service of the late freedom fighter would be conducted tomorrow at 4 PM at the Martyrs Cemetery here in the capital.

The National Security Office extended condolences to family members and friends of Col. Abdurahman.
