Rwanda: New FRVB Boss to Be Elected On Feb. 9

Rwanda Volleyball Federation, (FRVB) will hold their general election to chose a new executive committee on February 9 at Stade Amahoro in Remera, the sitting federation chairman Philbert Mutwarasibo has confirmed.

"We reached a decision that elections should be held on Feb. 9 and interested candidates can hand in their CVs," said Mutwarasibo, who will not stand for re-election.

The positions up for grabs include, that is chairman and vice chairman, 1st vice chairman and 2nd vice chairman, Secretary General and Treasure as well as two commissioners.

"Apart from the elections, we shall also review last year's activities as well as preview our plan of action for the next calendar year," added the interim chairman, who stepped in to replace Charles Uyisenga, who joined the Senate last October.
