Kenya Has Lost Billions to Disasters

Kenya has lost billion of shillings as a result of disasters in the last six years. UNDP Team leader for Disaster Risk Reduction in Kenya Beatrice Teya says the losses include effects of the post election violence and drought in parts of the country. She says they are working with the government to establish a new policy on the management of disasters.
