Royal Media Services will be taken to court for setting up more than ten illegal transmitter stations within the country. CCK director general Francis Wangusi says the penalty for such an offense is five million shillings, or three years imprisonment or both. He says they have already shut down six of the transmitter stations and will be shutting down the rest in the next few days.
