The contest for the two top seats in Kiambu county has started, two week after controversial party nominations. Former Juja MP William Kabogo, who won The National Alliance party nomination is battling it out for the governor seat with former Rockefeller Foundation boss James Nyoro who is vying on a Narc ticket.
Others running for governor are Gakuru Kanyanja on an Alliance Party of Kenya ticket and former PCEA moderator Dr David Githii on Agano ticket. Former Limuru MP George Nyanja is also running for the seat.
