Nigeria: Gen Awala Is New GOC, Third Armoured Division, Jos

Major General Ebiobowei Awala has taken over as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3rd Armoured Division; Maxwel Khobe cantonment, Rukuba, Jos, Plateau State.

The new GOC replaces Major General Jack Okechukwu Nwaogbo, who has been posted to Army Headquarters, Abuja as Chief of Training and Operations (CTOPs).

While taking over from General Nwaogbo, Awala in a ceremony held at the Division's headquarters on Friday, General Awala promised to build on the successes recorded by his predecessor.
