Egypt: Thirty Ministers Participate in OIC Foreign Ministers' Meeting

The meetings of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held on Monday 4/2/2013 with the participation of 56 countries except Syria. The meeting aims at preparing for the 12th Islamic Summit.

Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr will be handed the presidency of the Summit from his Senegalese counterpart.

Meanwhile, more than 30 ministers will participate in the meeting, while UAE Foreign Minister Anwar Mohamed Qarqash will preside his country's delegation in the meetings.

A high rank Egyptian diplomatic source disclosed that one of the UAE rulers is expected to head his country's delegation to the Summit to be held on 6-7 February on behalf of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
