Egypt: Interior Ministry - We Continue Investigations to Achieve Justice

Spokesman for the Interior Ministry Maj. Gen. Hani Abdel Latif, in an exclusive statement to " Ahram gate" on 02/02/2013, said that statements of the beaten-up citizen Hamada Saber, during investigation, that the police did not beat him, will not affect the investigations undertaken by the Department of Inspection and Control at the Ministry of Interior over the incident.

These statements will not also acquit the policemen who could be involved in this act. Abdul Latif added that security men at the Interior Ministry watched on air dragging the citizen by some police officers and his words in the investigations will not change this fact.
