Egypt: Military Spokesman - Situation Around Port Said Prison Stable

Spokesman for the Armed Forces Colonel Ahmed Mohammed Ali, in a statement on his official Facebook account on 2/2/2013 said measures were taken to ease security restrictions in the vicinity of the general prison of Port Said, which witnessed last week's storming attempts in the wake of the death sentence on 21 of the defendants in the case of Port Said stadium massacre.

The spokesman added that the Second Field Army is exerting efforts to restore security and stability in Port Said in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior through strict security measures.
