Liberia: UNMIL Nigeria Contingent Announces Small Arms Firing Exercise

As part of its IN-Mission Training activities, sector A units comprising of Nigerian Battalions (NABATT) 29 and 30 said it will conduct their first quarter live firing exercise for 2013.

The exercise which is expected to take place at Camp Clara shooting Range from February 4-8 2013 for NABATT 29, and Blue lake Tubmanburg Range from 11-15 February 2013 for NABATT 30 respectively and is expected to commence by 8:00 AM to 5:pm daily on the stated date.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian contingent calling on the public especially resident of the Camp Clara and the Blue Lake Tubmanburg areas not to panic upon hearing the sound of five firing and movement of troops with their vicinity.

The Nigerian Battalion is however calling on the public to keep off the areas mention for the shooting exercise throughout duration of the exercise.
