Gambia: Man Docked for Threatening to Kill

One Dembo Bojang was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates' Court presided over by Principal Magistrate Hilary Abeke. He was charged with threatening to kill, Contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.

The particulars of offence stated that on or about the 13th November 2012, at Foni, Kampant village, the accused person threatened to kill one Momodou Bojang of the same village, thereby committed an offence.

When the charge was read to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty and was bailed in the sum of D5000 with one Gambian surety. The case was adjourned to 13th February, 2013.
