Gambian premier league champions Real de Banjul continued their perfect start to the new season with yet another win over Gambia Armed Forces at the KG5 Mini-Stadium in Banjul on Saturday.
Alagie Sarr's defending champions had won both of their two opening two games with 1-0 victories and they secured a similar scoreline win over the 2003 champions, a result that condemned the 'Khaki Boys' to their third straight reverse of the season. Real de Banjul were the dominant side in the game as they controlled proceedings but failed to transform their dominance into goals.
After a goalless first half, Lamin Jallow scored in the 64th minute to set his side on the path to victory. They held on despite a late onslaught from the Gambian Soldiers for all three points.
Real now have nine points so far after three matches. They have scored only a single goal in every game but are yet to concede one and will take on the Cherno Samba Academy Boys, Samger in their next league fixture at the weekend they played so far.
