Angola: Ganda Inaugurates Polytechnic Institute

Ganda — A medium level polytechnic institute for 324 students will be inaugurated on Monday in the municipality of Ganda, some 201 kilometres southeast of Benguela city (centre), Angop learned Saturday here.

This is under the celebrations of the celebrations of the February 4, the start of the national armed liberation struggle.

The institute will run technical courses like computers, management of computer systems, electronics and telecommunication, energy and civil construction.

It is equipped with 24 classrooms, 12 laboratories and three pavilions for practical lessons.

Angop learned that 32 teachers will secure the functioning of the institute in the first academic year.

According to the programme of the celebration, other social undertakings will be inaugurated, including medical centres, police station, economic houses, public toilets and laundries in the municipalities of Baía Farta, Cubal and Catumbela.
