Angola: Portuguese Foreign Minister Expected in Luanda

Luanda — The Portuguese Foreign minister, Paulo Portas, is expected in Luanda on Tuesday for a visit to Angola as part of the effort to have the relations between the two countries reinforced.

According to a press release that reached Angop on Sunday, during his stay in Angola, Paulo Portas will be received in audience by the head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, and will meet with his local counterpart, Georges Chikoti.

The relations between the two countries backdate to the post-independent period, with visible reciprocal advantages in the economic, political, diplomatic, social and other domains.
