Agordat — The Association of Fruits and Vegetables Farmers in Agordat sub-zone indicated that it would strive to raise harvest this year. It disclosed its plan at an assessment meeting conducted recently.

Mr. Aurelio Jackomino, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that the Association has been making considerable input in meeting local demand, and encouraged members to step up their endeavors and promote synergism so as to obtain bumper harvest.

In the same vein, Mr. Daud Haj Mahmoud, chairman of the Associations of Fruits and Vegetables Farmers in Gash-Barka region, noted the need of raising the number of members, and called on the Association in Agordat sub-zone to step up efforts towards raising its organizational capacity.

The Association members on their part voiced readiness to do their level best towards attaining the cherished goal.
