Kenya: France's Leading Distillers Party

The Sankara Hotel in Nairobi was the venue of a unique gathering last Thursday evening as leading French distiller Pernod Ricard hosted a party to announce their entrance to the Kenyan market.

The company is the distributor of a number of alcoholic beverages, the most famous where Kenyans are concerned are Jameson Whiskey and Absolut Vodka and now Pernod Ricard Kenya.

The evening was made special as the chief executive of the global organisation Pierre Pringuet took time to mingle with an eclectic mix of personalities including Uchumi CEO Jonathan Ciano, Forbes Africa boss Governor Makhbela and French ambassador Etienne de Poncins. The cool evening at the hotel's champagne bar was emceed by entertainer June Gacui.
