Angolan Community in UK Attends 4 February Lecture

Manchester — The counsellor-minister of the Angolan Embassy in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Eduardo Sangueve, spoke to the Angolan community about the importance of the 4 February date (start of the armed struggle against colonialism), having also called on Angolans to engage themselves in the tasks of peace consolidation in the country.

The diplomat said so at a lecture entitled "Let us honour our heroes, by promoting social solidarity", in the ambit of this Angolan public holiday.

The official also called on all Angolans to be committed to the tasks of national reconciliation and reconstruction in various domains.

Eduardo Sangueve also seized the occasion to call on Angolan citizens in the UK to make sure they regularize their stay in the European country, so as to avoid problems.
