The Joint Action Front (JAF) has said it will continue to resist the ban on commercial motorcycle (Okada) operations on the 475 roads in Lagos State because the law is denying half a million Okada operators access to means of livelihood, with implications for growing unemployment and the escalating national insecurity.
JAF, at a recent media briefing in Lagos, said the banning of okada operations has continued to have serious effect on millions of Lagos commuters who have been going through untold hardship because of the inability of the Lagos State Mass Transit to meet the demand of commuters.
