Zimbabwe: Doves Donates School Fees

"ALL children in Zimbabwe have the right to education," the managing director of Doves Morgan, Mr Talent Maziwisa, said. "Parents are currently reeling from school fees challenges, but that must not stop

our little ones from going to school," he said when he handed over school fees for 34 Grade 7 pupils from Torwood Primary School in Redcliff. The school fees were worth US$2 270.

The pupils had failed to collect last year's Grade 7 results for not paying their fees. "We were touched when we heard that they are over 30 students who could not secure Form One places because of financial constrains," he said.

Mr Maziwisa said Doves will assist more pupils in Kwekwe and areas facing similar challenges.

"We were not able to reach all schools in Redcliff, but Doves will certainly visit and assist children sharing the same predicament.

"Names of the pupils who need help will be submitted to us by school heads and we will consider their requests", he said.
