Egypt: Black Sand Project Approved

President Mohammed Morsi has approved the founding of a joint economic entity in coordination between the Nuclear materials Agency and Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate to run a project investing the black sand on the Mediterranean costs.

The meeting will be presided over by Dr. Ahmed Suleiman the president's advisor for projects, the recent of which was attended by Minister of Electricity and Energy and Kafr El-Sheikh governor as well as officials concerned at the Nuclear Materials Agency.

The reserves of the black sand in the said area hit over 640 million tons in addition to precious stones
