President Mohamed Morsi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, held a meeting on Monday 4/2/2013 with the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) at the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting discussed the current security situation and implications for the national security, in addition to reviewing the efforts of the Armed Forces in Canal cities during the curfew period.
A military source said that the meeting dealt with a number of important axes in the national security strategies and internal and regional challenges facing Egypt in the light of the escalating protests in the Egyptian street.
