Egypt: PM, Finance Minister Discuss Economic Woes

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil met on 4/2/2013with Finance Minister el-Morsy Higazi.

The meeting took up the current economic problems due to the political unrest in the country and the need to resume work in all fields to overcome the crisis.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Hisham Qandil met on 4/2/2013 with new Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) governor Hisham Ramez.

Ramez's meeting with Qandil was the first since assuming his post.

During the meeting, they discussed the overall condition of the banking sector, in light of the current economic situation in the country.

The meeting also tackled ways to hold contacts with the local and foreign investors to solve all the problems facing them to promote investment in the country.
