Kenya: Gangsters Shoot Woman in Kitengela
By Kurgat Marindany, 5 February 2013
A woman was yesterday morning shot outside her gate in Kitengela's Noonkopir Estate by armed gangsters. The four gangsters stopped Doris Ndichu at 1.30am as she was waiting for her gate to be opened.
Kitengela police boss Simon Kiragu said Ndichu was shot in her upper hand when she resisted orders to get out of her car. Kiragu said the gang made away with a mobile phone and Sh1,000. Ndichu was rushed to the Kitengela Medical Centre before she was transferred to Equatorial Hospital in Nairobi.
