Following a request from the flag bearer of the Jubilee Coalition Deputy Prime Minister Hon Uhuru Kenyatta, the Hindu Council of Kenya hosted some members of the coalition for a meet and greet last week.
The event held at the Oshwal Centre on Wednesday provided an opportunity for the presidential hopeful and his deputies Hon Najib Balala and Hon William Ruto to interact with key members of the Hindu Council of Kenya, The Oshwal community, various business owners and members of the public including political aspirant Ms Sonia Birdi. Their key message was representation and voting for your choice while participating in the forthcoming elections.
The Hindu Council of Kenya used the opportunity to invite other aspirants to interact with the Asian community as part of their election campaigns.
