Uganda: Ethiopian Airways Joins Bukenya - Jussulla Kickboxing Fight

Ethiopian Airways have joined the international kickboxing fight between Ugandan Sharif Bukenya and Jarkul Jussulla from Finland scheduled for February 23 at Freedom City.

Eddy Gombya, the fight organiser, disclosed the sponsorship but didn't divulge details of the total package before the official handover expected this weekend. Gombya also revealed he is negotiating with WBS TV to telecast the fight live. Jussulla is expected in the country on February 21. At stake will be the World Kickboxing Federation title and Austrian Felex Trinburg is expected to referee the contest.

Initially, Jussulla had been scheduled to face Umar Ssemata but the latter's failure to secure proper documentation denied him a chance to have this fight. Ssemata is a Ugandan kickboxer based in Thailand. In five professional fights, Bukenya has won two and lost three.
