Rwanda: St. Joseph Recruit Five New Players

National volleyball league side Groupe Scolaire St. Joseph has signed four players from rivals Groupe Scolaire de Butare.

The five youngsters are all part of the national junior team, which is preparing to take apart in CAVB Africa Championships this year in Tunisia.

The new signings include Patrick Rudakubana (right attacker), Fred Muvunyi Rufu (cente), Emma Bonane (right attacker) and Jean Claude Niyibizi (setter) as well as left attacker Gideon Mutabazi from Rusumo High School.

According to St Joseph coach, Sylveste Mbanza, they have signed the five players in a bid to strength their squad for the upcoming new season as well a the inter-schools competitions.
