Gambia: Cricket Association Holds ICC/ACA Sponsored Cap Course

ICC/ACA CAP Module 1 Course was held on Thursday 31st January 2013 at the 22nd July Square hall in Banjul.

The Cap Module 1 course which is Community Cricket was ran in a day featuring 15 teachers across schools in Banjul, Serekunda and Brikama.

The course started with an opening ceremony by the Development Officer PaBakary Touray of the National Sport Council.

Areas which were dealt with in this one day course were: How to form a Club, How to organise a Tournament as well as understanding the need for Organization

The Primary and Senior School league Structure were also look at in this day Program.

The Course instructor was Mr. Johnny Gomez and his Development Team Mr. Wilfred Remileku Riley, Mr. Mbye Dumbuya and Mr. Peter Campbell.
