Gambia: President Jammeh Leaves for OIC Summit Today

The president of the Republic, His Excellency, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh accompanied by a high ranking delegation will leave Banjul International Airport today, Tuesday, 5th February 2013 at 2:00pm for Cairo, Egypt to attend the 12th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference organised by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation from the 5th to the 8th February 2013.

All those invited to see His Excellency the President off, are requested to be at the airport at least half an hour before departure for the usual ceremonies.
