Gambia: Sabi Win Serahuli Super Cup

Sabi United Friday defeated Dippa Kunda 2-0 in the super cup final of the Serahuli championship at the Serekunda West football ground. The former were awarded a cash prize of D5, 000 while the latter got D2, 500.

The game was a tough encounter as both teams fought hard for victory. The match started with both teams displaying some terrific sequence of passes but it was Sabi United that broke the deadlock in the 30th minute after Muhammed Camara converted a spot kick to give his side the lead before the break.

Sabi United extended their lead courtesy of Musa Bamballeh's thunderous effort from 23 yards in the 55th minute.

Dippa Kunda had a clear-cut chance to score a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the game but Ebrima Drammen's brilliant shot from close range just went wide.
