Kenya: Voters Risk Six Years in Prison for Accepting Bribes

The Elections Handbook for Security Personnel released by the IEBC says it will be an offense for voters to accept any kind of bribe for supporting a particular candidate during the March 4th General Election. The offenders will be charged in court and if found guilty will face a jail term of six years or a fine not exceeding Sh1 million or both.
