Luanda — The southern Cunene Province hosts Tuesday an international seminar on "Resistance to the Occupation of the Southern Angola", sponsored by the Angolan Ministry of Culture.
To this purpose, the minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, left Tuesday for the region to attend the event.
The seminar follows the dissemination and valorisation project of the Angolan historical figures intended to enhance the facts of regional history as well as rebuild the memory and identity as a process of the construction of national history.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the seminar also highlights the role played by sovereign and signatories of the region in the resistance against the effective occupation.
The event will gather mainly Angolan and Namibian experts.
