Nigeria: British Firm to Train Nigerians

A British capacity building organization, GTC, has said that it will help in training and re-training personnel in the public sector in order to meet with challenges of the 21st century.

GTC has helped in transforming public sectors in developing economies like Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa.

The firm is offering a £15,000 UK Work Based Learning Master's Degree scholarship to Nigerians and particularly in core areas of human capacity building and development.

Investigation shows that this professional institute which was founded in 2004 has a high-level capacity building services including consultancy, training and career development for emerging economies, mainly in the Public Sector and also have specialized energy division that provides innovative services in the sector.

The Associate Director of GTC, Paula Nicholson said that "the world is moving at a fast pace and developing economies would be left behind if nothing is done now.

"This is why GTC's programmes have been designed to meet the immediate and future needs of managerial aspect of Nigeria public sector especially to drive transformation."
