South Africa: Closing of Lengau Testing Centre

press release

The Department of Police, Roads and Transport has embarked on a turnaround strategy to improve service delivery to the public at its testing stations and registration authorities in the province. As part of this process the department will be upgrading certain service points at Lengau testing Centre in Bloemfontein on Friday, 1 February 2012 at 13h00.

The improvements will be made to the system to allow members of the public to do card transactions for payments for services rendered at the station. The station will close at 13h00 to enable technicians to work on the systems without inconveniencing members of the public. The Department of Police, Roads and Transport would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused as a results of this closure.
