U.S. Ambassador Michael Raynor, accompanied by USAID Director Kevin Armstrong, chaired an agreements signing ceremony on February 05, 2013 with Benin's Foreign Minister Mr. Nassirou Bako-Arifari.
In this partnership renewal agreement, the U.S. Government committed more than $31,075,000 (15,537,500,000 CFA francs) to strengthen its cooperation with Benin primarily in the areas of health and gender equality, through projects overseen by the U.S. Agency for International Development.
