Kenya: Celebrity's House Razed By Political Hooligans in Mombasa

Police in Mombasa are investigating a case where suspected political hooligans razed a house belonging to Mombasa's Coast Awards CEO Julia Achieng' famously known by her street moniker Beyonce.

The Saturday morning incident attracted a huge crowd from Bombolulu estate and the matter has been reported to the Nyali Police. The occurrence book number is OB74/3/2/2013.

She told Word Is, "I was just from partying when a heard a loud sound and screams from my houseboy and neighbour. They said that the fire had started from the side of my window. I'm surprised at the act especially since of late I have been receiving threatening phone calls from unknown people."
