Kenya: Property Management Tip - Think Win-Win
By James Waithaka, 6 February 2013
Good property management practices benefit the property owner, the neighbourhood and tenants and reduce the cost of local authority services. Always keep your property maintained and safe for tenants and neighbouring properties.
Your property must always be appealing to potential tenants. Also, you must respond quickly whenever tenants report conditions that require your attention such as peeling paint.
Periodically ask tenants if everything is functional. It is best to find any trouble early.
