Kenya: Kosgey in Stiff Contest for Nandi Senator Seat

6 February 2013

ODM chairman Henry Kosgey faces his toughest political battle in Nandi. Kosgey is vying for the senator seat against a youthful URP aspirant in a URP dominant region.

URP has fielded 31-year-old Stephen Sang who is a renowned consultant on governance and democracy issues in the region. Yesterday, Sang intensified his campaigns in Nandi saying he will inject fresh leadership blood into the region where Kosgey has been the main political player for the last three decades.
