Kenya: Hold Peaceful Polls, Poghisio Urges Pokot

Outgoing Kacheliba MP Samuel Poghisio has asked West Pokot leaders to uphold peace and conduct peaceful campaigns ahead of the March 4 polls.

Addressing rallies in Lelan, Kaptabuk and Tapach in Pokot South yesterday, Poghisio urged leaders to put aside their political differences and unite the residents to fast track Pokot's socio-economic development. Poghisio who has served as Kacheliba MP for four consecutive terms is vying for the West Pokot senate seat on a URP ticket.
