Rwanda: Solid Friday Returns This Week

This Friday, there's more reason to party as you will be partying for a good cause. Solid Africa, a nonprofit organisation that takes care of patients in various public hospitals around the country, has returned with its popular 'Solid Fridays' event.

The night, which is a fundraising event, is packed with a lot of fun and games not forgetting interaction with different people from across the country. Entrance at the door will be Rwf 500 only.

Speaking to The New Times, Isabella Kamariza, one of the founders of Solid Africa, explained that, "through a strong social structure we can all help to solve social constraints in public hospitals."

Last year, Solid Africa used over Rwf 40M on their Monday and Sunday visits, breakfast to patients, medical expenses, buying hygiene products, clothes, paying hospital bills and giving transport to patients.
