Kenya: Candidate Promises University

KHWISERO parliamentary hopeful Dan Sumba will set up a university if elected on March 4.

Speaking at Ambulishe village in Kisa Central yesterday, Sumba who is running on a UDF ticket asked the electorate to impeach him if he fails to fulfill his promises.

"Of all the aspirants who have lined up for the Khwisero parliamentary seat, I am the only one who can serve you better," said Sumba. "Others are not articulating your issues well."

He said a university is an economic stimulus and will improve the living standards of the Khwisero people. "Farmers will get a market for their farm produce and business people will set up hostels the students," said Sumba.
