Nigeria: Bring Us the Trophy, Al-Makura Charges Super Eagles

Nasarawa State Governor Umar Tanko Al-makura has congratulated the super Eagles of Nigeria for their superlative performance at the ongoing African Nation's cup taking in south Africa.

This was contained in a press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja by his senior special assistant on media and press affairs Alhaji Sani Musa Mairiga.

Governor Umar Tanko Al-makura said the team spirit and performance so far deserved commendation,and called on the players and the coaching crew to keep up the good job assuring them that Nigerians are solidly behind them and would keep praying until the bring back the cup that the super Eagles last won in 1994 in Tunisia.

"The outstanding performance of our national football Team the Super Eagles has restored the dignity of Nigeria in the world,football is a unifying factor and am very proud of our players,its gladdened my heart to us through to the final,it would be a thing og joy if the bring home the trophy" said the statement.
